History at a glance
The business started out as a simple small business in 1950’s. Abdul Rasheed initiated his carpentry business, Rasheed Carpentry at his residence, M. Seenukarankaage. Back then, the business was all about crafting and building styled furniture, while working on a few other smaller areas like crafting doors and working on domestic roofing projects.

Maldives, being a country that is not very rich on natural manufacturing resources, mainly depends on importing products from other countries. As envisaged in our mission, we view our business relationship with our business associates as a strategic partnership in which we coordinate and combine our efforts, contribution and commitment to produce top results for mutual interests and benefits.
